A simple question the answer to which eludes me - why are so many people who profess to libertarian views so dismissive about environmental issues? I don't mean about specific things like wind power where there may be any number of reasons but in general? References to tree-huggers come to mind...
It used to be the left who were dismissive - seeing environmental politics as diverting attention away from the class war (maybe they still do - I don't move in ultraleft circles to find out).
