I'm worried about my medication. I have now seen two recent posts on Samizdata and I agree with both of them!
This one refers to a column by Perry de Haviland in the Times, while this one by Guy Herbert is a satire on the sort of future we are in danger of creating with our willingness to grant to the government the sweeping powers they want.
First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left
to speak out for me.
