I'm not sure I agree with everything in the post that Chris Dillow of Stumbling and Mumbling points to (here), but I certainly agree with his conclusion.
[Anthony Evans is] also showing where the most important political division lies. It's not between "left" and "right", and certainly not between Tory and Labour. It's between those who support hiearchical politics, and those who think the people should be given more control over their own lives and over the government.
